Bugatti has unveiled the Veyron Grand sport Vitesse “Lang Lang” at the Qatar motor Show. Bugatti has developed the new model to honour classical music star pianist Lang Lang. just one will be built, priced at €2,132,700 (£1.757m).
The look of the Bugatti was inspired by a concert grand piano, thus why the exterior is finished in black and white.

The black elements are exposed carbon fibre, while the white colour is called Blanc Atalante. To add an extra touch of luxury, the EB logo at the rear and the EB labels on the fuel and oil caps are plated with 24-carat gold. Black Sang Noir diamond-cut rims complete the look.
On the inside, again the piano keyboard is the dominant theme, with seats, roofing system liner and footwells covered in black leather. The bolsters of the seats, steering wheel and gear selector feature white stitching, while the doors are covered in white leather overlayed with black stitched lines that are intended to resemble a musical stave.
Other touches include a piano-black finish to the EB logo on the white rear centre storage box, and a gold-plated EB logo and ring on the steering wheel. Lang Lang’s signature is also incorporated into the car’s footwell. He signed the car after giving a concert at Bugatti’s factory in Molsheim, France.
The “Lang Lang” special edition is based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand sport Vitesse. However, it doesn’t form part of the Bugatti Legends series. This will feature six specials, based on the Grand sport Vitesse, that celebrate people who have played a significant role in Bugatti’s history.
So far, three of the six planned Legends models have been unveiled, in honour of two-time Le Mans winner Jean-Pierre Wimille, former Bugatti racing chief Meo Constantini and Jean Bugatti, child of the founder of the firm, Ettore Bugatti, respectively. three much more are expected within the year, with the fourth likely to debut at Geneva.
The Veyron Grand sport Vitesse has a top speed of 254mph. It’s powered by the much more powerful version of Bugatti’s eight-litre W16 engine, which generates 1,184bhp and 1,500Nm of torque. Bugatti claims a 0-62mph time of 2.6 seconds –longer than it takes to say ‘Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand sport Vitesse.’

The Qatar international motor show takes place from 21 to 25 February.
